Whoops.
I was running Nik through a date with some townie and simultaneously making Cris and Kevin become better friends through the power of silly conversations, and both Bobby and Carlo needed micromanaging at the same time, and—long story short—too late—I ended up queuing up a bunch of romantic interactions for Cris instead of for Nik. So I guess these two are dating now? OH WELL
True to form, Cris looks worried about this. Kevin is either a) going to cry, b) going to burst out laughing, or c) start bitching about a bad smell.
Wait a second, who’s this jagoff?
This is Kevin, a brilliant-but-eccentric inventor who got tired of living off cereal and microwave cuisine. (And also of dealing with his annoying, moochy, hippie-surfer neighbors.) He jumped at the chance to move in, share a bedroom with Cris, and set himself on fire in the company of others.
I’ve been playing with game mods this time around. I’m running several NRaas mods and I also installed the pose player.
The pose player can access all the EA poses: “Pose like this!” you tell your Sim, and he does. And, once you get bored with the standard poses, you can download packs of fan-made poses from the internet and install those and turn the Sims into a modeling studio. Or a porn shoot. Lots of that out there, too.
I am an aesthetically-stunted individual, to say the least, but this particular snapshot is not terrible.

Today I was listening to KEXP and asking myself, “Is this Elbow? It sounds like it could be Elbow. It’s… Elbesque.”
It turns out that it was not, in fact, Elbow, but a group called Sweet Billy Pilgrim. They are pretty good at music! You can watch their videos here to hear three or four of their songs, and you can free-and-legal download ‘Joyful Reunion’ from KEXP, here.

Have I mentioned that Cris is a coward? Cris is a coward.
In order to dig up dirt on townsfolk—and produce the articles that win him promotions in his career as a journalist—he has to rummage through their trash. He’s also super clumsy and unlucky—and he desperately wants to be the household’s handyman. Why he’s not dead yet, I’ll never know.

I let Bart choose his own evil-criminal work clothes. His taste is… variable, to say the least. Every time he gets a promotion I wait with bated breath to see what breaches of fashion and etiquette he’ll perpetrate this time. That yellow-and-orange-print shirt is horrifying. I think I love it.
The last picture is just in case you’ve forgotten that he’s evil. And inappropriate.
